If you’re in the market to get a cash back card, you probably want to know how the cards out there on the market today work and which ones get the best rating. I’ve been working with credit card companies for over a few years now and I can tell you that honestly each bank is worth getting. Every bank has their own unique program and depending on what you spend the most one annually will depend on which card you should get.

From my own standpoint, I’ve down formulas to see if you really benefit from one particular card on the market and sadly to say, each card in the long run end up being the same. The question to you is which brand do you want in your wallet? Are you loyal to a brand or do you want one that has great customer service, etc?

What I can tell you is that you need to look for a card that will capitalize the most points for your dollar spent each year. If you spend a lot on gas and groceries, find a card that will give you the most points back. Since most cards work on a category system, you can the most back on your spending. For example, you’ll find that one card will give you three points for every dollar spent at a gas station, etc. while another only gives you one point.

As long as you do your homework and find a card that’s best for you, you’ll be able to find a card that suits your needs. I know I didn’t rate them but honestly just about every card out there is the same. It all comes down to the bank and brand.
